So, who is "Riggs"?
“Why is someone so handsome stuck on the radio and not on the silver screen? What a classic gentleman." // Alice Craven
Where i am
Hey there - I'm Riggs. Unless you're my wife or my dog, they call me Andy. Or my Mom, who calls me Andrew. Or my taxidermist, who calls me "for the last time, I don't have a walrus".
In my career I've started at the bottom dubbing in commercials from reel-to reel, to weekends, overnights, holidays. I've hosted night shows, afternoon shows, midday shows, morning shows, scheduled music, web design, audio production and imaging, video production and editing, promotions, marketing, I've pretty much done every job possible - aside from sales. It's been quite a journey.
Fast forward to NOW.
I currently host the Riggs and Alley morning show on 103.7 KissFM in Milwaukee, WI. Every weekday morning, along with our awesome producer, Gibbons, we aim to make your daily morning routine less of a blah and more of a ha-ha...because sometimes, we can be funny.
I've been in radio for 20 years. Yea, that's right. 20 years. Keep scrolling down and you can see my first ever rejection letter from August 1998. Fortunately, that was the end of my rejection letters.
WHERE I'VE BEEN
Started this crazy radio trip in 1998 in Indianapolis - banging on doors of radio stations doors to get jobs. Here's my first rejection letter!
