RIGGS
You know that feeling you get when you wake up in a panic thinking that you overslept, then breathe a sigh of relief and joy when you realize it's an off day?
That's the kind of feeling I enjoy giving to people every morning.
I've spent the past 27 years evoking emotion - from the profound to the hilarious and emotional - I love interacting with people and providing an escape from every day life.
Where I am now
Holding down the Morning show with Katelyn Maida, and Erica Rico on 93Q (KKBQ) in HOUSTON, TEXAS!

GONE COUNTRY.

Welcome to my journey! It’s hard to believe 29 years ago, I was just a kid making radio skits on a cassette recorder in my basement. Fast forward to today, and I’m hosting a morning show the biggest country radio station in the country! Along the way, I've even founded my own mental health non-profit. I feel incredibly blessed to have turned my passion into a career, and I can’t wait to share more of this adventure with you!
Creating has always been my passion.
Been knocking on doors since high school in 1997 when I told a production director to let me dub in Reel-to-reels for him.
Since then, I've been opening my own doors in life.
From professional talker to professional listener, I'm a certified positive psychology coach and crisis text line counselor.
Empathy is the heartbeat of my life.

In 2022, I founded HeartHead.

It became apparent to me through my advocacy that many people do not seek out therapy because of two main reasons: Stigma and cost.
Talk helps with the stigma. What helps the cost?
We do. Heart Head helps pay for therapy and mental health care - regardless of financial situation or insurance coverage.
So far we have paid out over $10,000 in free therapy.
